Entangled in an ever growing bind
of self-loathing, the ocean crashes
and waves wave, all the while
croaks frog, barks dog, meows cat,
shouts woman, ignores man,
burns fire, wets water,
laughs God, and still the earth.
There was never simpler times.
There was only a time without
us suffering for something (or someone)
and that made it simpler.
